Please note ALL participants MUST live in Coventry to
compete
Only children born between 1990 and1993 inclusive (12 to 15
years olds) will be eligible to participate.
The Team will consist of eight boys and eight girls.
Competition will take place in the following events:
- 50m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
- 100m freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly
- 400m freestyle relay and medley relay
- 200m individual medley
Selections for the swimming team will be made from performances
at the Warwickshire Championships to be held in Coventry in March
2005. Swimmers will be considered for selection from their
performance in the events scheduled for the Games. Performances at
the Warwickshire Championships will then be ranked and rated
against FINA international points. Highest ranked swimmers in each
event will then be selected until the allocated team size is
reached.
