Please note ALL participants MUST live in Coventry to
compete
Only children born between 1990 and1993 inclusive (12 to 15
years olds) will be eligible to participate.
The Team will consist of two boys and two girls. However, there
is also a need for suitable reserves in the event of a late
withdrawal.
The selection process for the tennis team will take place
through play offs based on Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Rating and
recent results. To be considered to qualify you will require a
minimum LTA rating of 9.2.
Play offs will be organised through the Coventry City Tennis
Club at the Memorial Park, Coventry on Sunday 24 April 2005 from
10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Players must be available to stay over at the University of
Warwick from Wednesday 6 to Monday 11 July 2005. travelling home
after breakfast on the Monday.

City Tennis Club
Coventry City Tennis Club is the 25th city tennis club approved in
2004 within the LTA city tennis club programme. Based at three
venues in the North East of the city the club is able to offer low
cost play opportunities for players of all abilities. The club is
also LTA mini tennis accredited.

Beechwood Tennis Club
For junior coaching visit the club between 9.30 am and 1.00 pm on
any Saturday during the year, based in Beechwood Avenue,
Earlsdon.
The club provides a high standard of coaching to players at all
levels. The club is also LTA mini tennis accredited.

Coventry & North Warwickshire Cricket Club
(C&NWCC)
Saturday morning coaching sessions for 5 to 8 year olds. Groups are
organised according to standard. The Club is situated on Binley
Road, Coventry. Club activities include tournaments, Friday club
night, junior ladder and national junior league teams.

Esporta Warwickshire
Esporta Warwickshire Health & Racquets Club is the only indoor
tennis club in Coventry. The club offers a comprehensive programme
catering for all ages and abilities. The club has National
