Rules:
- ITF Rules and Code of Conduct will apply
- Playing Surface: 8 Tarmacadum Courts, 3 Artificial Grass
- Dress: Recognised Tennis Clothing, Non - marking tennis shoes
or multipurpose shoes should be worn, No running shoes will be
allowed
- No coaching allowed during matches, on courts or from outside
the court
Player Nomination:
- All Cities are asked to rank their players as number 1 or 2 in
their teams
- If players have a Country or Regional ranking this should also
be given.
Competition Format:
- A Preliminary round will be played for players to gain places
in the main draw
- Matches in the main competition and preliminary rounds will be
the best of three sets with a tiebreak at 6-6 all in the first two
set, the third set will be a match tie break game [First to 10
points by 2 clear].
- It is aimed for all players to play a minimum of two matches
with plate competitions for players losing their first round
matches. Abbreviated scoring will be used for these matches.
- In the event of wet weather abbreviated scoring may be used by
the referee and plate competitions may not be completed.
- All decisions made by the Referee are final.
