sports stars? Or maybe you are an International student who would
like to witness what the future holds for sport in your country? If
so, come and join the International Children's Games Volunteering
Programme.
The Volunteer Scheme is open to the public as well as students and
will provide an opportunity for everyone to get behind Coventry to
raise the sporting profile of the City and the University.
These are just a few reasons why you should sign
up:
- You will be officially recognised and will gain valuable
criteria to enhance your CV. Helping you achieve experience,
knowledge and lots of enjoyment
- Throughout the training and the event, free accommodation can
be provided where necessary.
- Free certified training on Running a Major Event, Working with
Young People,
- Working with Foreign Students, Customer Care and Problem
Solving.
- Witness elite athletes competing
- Develop personal skills
- Mentored work experience with children
- Gain experience, for example, an insight into event's
management or learning a new language
- Work with the country's future stars Opportunity to take as a
free choice module, levels 2 and 3 in selected Coventry University
Business School related courses, for example Leisure
Management.
